Addobbi pasquali

E' ora di allestire un po' di addobbi pasquali. Ieri ho appeso le corone d'abete con le uova colorate. Sullo sfondo, so che sono noiosa, è in corso la nevicata quotidiana.

"Italian, Friulian, German and Slovene: a complex reality
The community of the Valcanale area was and still is a rather complex reality from the linguistic point of view. Its age-old repertory essentially includes Italian, German (literary and in its dialectal form), Slovene (mainly dialectal) and Friulian. Every single speaker's competence takes individual nuances, thus creating a broad range of possible combinations.
A pacific co-habitation of three linguistic stocks in Val Canale (a unique example in the entire old continent). Neo Latin, Slavic and Germanic stock populations co-habit pacifically and maintain, still today, in language itself the most evident expression of their diversity and individuality. The linguistic situation recorded in this area is very rare, practically unique in its genre. In this area ( with respect to other situations that might appear similar ) the novelty almost always consists of the coexistence of at least three languages, belonging to completely different groups such as Slavic, Germanic and Romance. It therefore ranges between a minimum of two registers (e.g. local idiom and Italian) to a maximum of seven (Slovene dialect, German dialect, Friulian, Italian, Italian dialects of other regions, standard Slovene, standard German)."
